the following frightening facts were pilfered (with some nausea) from the Herald sun Newspaper.

"Every minute 30,000-40,000 dead skin cells fall from your body. It takes about a month for your body to make a whole new layer of skin cells. You are likely to shed about 18kg of skin in a life time."

and just in case that didn't give you goose flesh-

"More than half the dust in your home is made up of skin cells."
